When I was a kid, a trip to visit my grandparents in Kentucky always meant one thing: as soon as we got there, I was begging to go to the general store.
Not for candy. Not for toys.
I wanted an ice-cold Ale81
There was just something special about walking into that little country store, hearing the screen door slam behind you, and reaching into the cooler for that green bottle. It tasted like summer break, family gatherings, front porch stories, and simpler times.
Funny how certain foods and drinks can instantly take you back. One sip, one smell, one taste—and suddenly you’re a kid again.

A long weekend gave me a little time to revisit the sourdough bread everybody keeps asking about… and guess what

It’s BACK in stock today!

Five beautiful loaves are sitting here right now just waiting for somebody to take them into a good home. Crispy crust, soft inside, and the kind of smell that makes you immediately want butter. 😋

Don’t wait too long… around here sourdough tends to disappear faster than good intentions at a bakery counter.
