🍩 And here's a sweet bonus! Luke and his lovely wife will be selling their fresh, homemade c***r donuts from their home-based business. YUM! And At forget me not were doing our fall c***r Donut sundaes with them. Its warm? Its decadent its simply delicious.. grab one sit outside and watch the festivities..

❤️ A LITTLE HEART-TO-HEART FROM OUR SMALL BUSINESS ❤️

We wanted to take a moment to address something we've been seeing lately regarding the use of AI-generated images in our social media posts.

First, we completely understand that not everyone loves AI. We understand the concerns about artificial images, and we absolutely respect everyone's opinions.
But we'd also like to share a little perspective from the other side of the counter. ❤️

We are a SMALL, locally owned business. Like so many other small businesses, we wear a LOT of hats. We cook, clean, serve customers, order inventory, create menus, plan events, market our business, and do our very best to keep things fresh, fun, and exciting for our community.
Hiring professional graphic designers, digital artists, and marketing companies for the amount of content we create simply isn't financially realistic for us.

AI is a tool that allows us to create fun, colorful marketing while keeping our expenses manageable. It helps us get the word out about the little business we work so hard to keep going.
It doesn't replace the REAL people behind our counter, the REAL food we prepare, the REAL smiles we share, or the REAL memories being made inside our doors.
What has been a little disheartening is the judgment we've received over something as simple as how we create our advertising.
And that brings us to something we feel very strongly about.
At Forget-Me-Not Soda Shoppe, we don't judge YOU. ❤️
We welcome everyone.!!!!
Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, or have dietary preferences completely different from our own, we do our best to offer something for you.
Whether you're young, old, somewhere in between, or come from a completely different walk of life, our doors are open to you.
We don't have to personally live the same lifestyle, share the same preferences, or agree on everything to treat one another with kindness and respect.
THAT is what being inclusive means to us.
We built this little 1950s-inspired shoppe to be a place where people could put their phones down, laugh together, enjoy some good old-fashioned fun, and simply BE THEMSELVES.
And we hope that same kindness and understanding can extend to the small businesses doing their best to survive and thrive.
You don't have to love AI. You don't have to love every picture we post. We respect that.
But we hope you'll look beyond the picture and see the heart, hard work, and REAL people behind this little business.

Because at the end of the day, our images might sometimes be artificial, but the LOVE we have for our community is 100% REAL. ❤️

It’s free pinball Friday! Woot woot 🎉

As our team sets these machines up for Fun Friday - we also do a quick maintenance check too. Please remember these machines are QUARTERS only. $1.38 was pulled out of these vintage classic games in coins other than quarters. These smaller coins tend to get stuck in the machines coin rail and make it so a quarter can’t drop. Which means you don’t get to play and the machine ate your money.

Second note - claw machine takes bills only. NO COINS.

🎶 **SO LONG, SUMMER — HELLO, GRILLED CHEESE SEASON!** 🎶

Well, cats and kittens, the seasons are changing here at Forget Me Not, and that means it’s time for a little **menu shuffle!** 💃🕺

# # # 👋 SAYING “SO LONG” TO A FEW FAVORITES

We’re giving a fond farewell to our **Egg Salad** and **Tuna Salad** sandwiches. You’ve been the perfect spring and summertime snack (or full-on meal!), and we sure have loved serving you.

But don’t go crying into your milkshake just yet! 🥤

Our **Tuna Melt** isn’t going anywhere — it will simply be making **special guest appearances as one of our weekly specials** rather than staying on the regular menu. So keep those peepers peeled for when it rolls back into town! 👀

We’re also saying farewell to our **Friday Snack Menu**. BUT — before you start booing from the back row… 😉
The snack menu favorites will **still be available in-house**, they just won’t be offered in the smaller snack-sized portions anymore.

Now THIS is the kind of seasonal change we can get behind!

And since you fine folks have been showing our **Tomato Soup** so much love, we’re thinking that little bowl of tomatoey goodness may just become a **season-long regular**. ❤️🍅

And who knows… we *may* or *may not* have another grilled cheese up our sleeve. 🤫

Let’s just say the rumor mill is turning…

# # # 🍔 A LITTLE MENU HOUSEKEEPING

We also want to clear up the name of one of our menu favorites: our **Cheeseburger Panini**.

When we originally named it, there was absolutely **no intention of misleading anyone**. The cheeseburger filling has always been wrapped in a tortilla and pressed hot on our panini press. We chose the name “Panini” because we thought it would give the impression of a hot, pressed, panini-pocket-style sandwich.

But after hearing from a few folks who expected a traditional cheeseburger sandwich on panini bread, we realized the name could definitely be confusing.

So, we're making it crystal clear!

From here on out, it will be listed as our **CHEESEBURGER WRAP** — served hot and crispy straight from the panini press. 🍔🔥

If you’ve had one before, you already know why we wrap it — that cheeseburger goodness can get **mighty messy!** 😂

We appreciate everyone who has spoken up and helped us make our menu clearer. We want you to know exactly what you’re ordering — and then enjoy every delicious bite!

So grab your favorite booth, put a little change in the jukebox, and get ready…
