With the water boil notice in place over the past two days, we understand the inconvenience this has caused, especially for those counting on their morning caffeine fix. We’ve been working diligently to find a solution and appreciate your patience and understanding!

We are currently on our way to San Antonio for a pump that will allow us to run the shop at full capacity on a backup water system. In theory, we should be 100% operational after install.

We want to thank all of our loyal customers for bearing with us. These water boils have a huge impact on all small businesses and the city of Mathis in general, so please go out and support them in any way you can. We love y’all and can’t wait to be back slinging shots again!

With the recent water boil notice, we will be closing the MATHIS location today. We are scheduled to resume normal operating hours tomorrow, however, there will be a limited menu.

We are taking every measure to ensure we are still able to deliver a safe and quality product to our customers. We will be sourcing product from our TAFT location, allowing us to continue to serve you until the boil notice is rescinded.

Iced coffee, Straight Shooterz, lemonades and small frappes will still be available. Espresso drinks may not be available, pending the notice. We will be working on trying to acquire a small espresso machine which utilizes bottled water, however, only small espresso drinks will be available in the event we can source the machine.

Yes, we were closed on Monday… and contrary to popular belief, we weren’t in line for any specific toy. 🙃

Usually, we give our Baristas a choice on if they felt like “Laboring” on Labor Day. This year we didn’t give them one!!!
