Buds Tavern Small town bar and grill with a welcoming staff and wonderful customers!

The Marion State Bank before it was ever a bar, Buds Tavern has been a staple of the Marion community since 1936. Family run for most of its life, first by George Schlunsen, then by his son Victor "Bud" Schlunsen, Buds Tavern is ingrained into the history of this small, but close knit community. Purchased on May 3rd, 2004 by Gail & Brad Letcher, Buds strives to keep things as close to original as possible, making sure that "warm, small hometown feeling" stays with people when they leave.
