The Bigfoot Festival is tomorrow (Saturday) in downtown Marion, and Countryside Express will be there!

Meanwhile, we’re open from 11 AM-8:30 PM here at the restaurant - and the Bigfoot Sandwich is still on the menu.🫈

🎉 Happy Birthday, John! 🎉

John has been part of the Countryside team for over five years. He can jump in just about anywhere in the kitchen, but most often you’ll find him behind the grill.

One thing we appreciate about John is the pride he takes in his work. He has a great eye for presentation and puts that extra bit of care into making sure the food he prepares looks just as good as it tastes. He definitely has a creative side when it comes to putting together a great-looking plate!

John is also always ready for a conversation and knows how to keep things fun in the kitchen. We appreciate all the hard work he puts in and are glad to have him as part of our team.

We’re kicking off September with another Countryside Cares. ❤️

On Tuesday, September 1st, we’ll be serving 200 free hot meals to our community at the Hook & Anchor parking lot beginning at 3:30 PM.

No signup. No requirements. No cost. Just come through the drive-thru line.

If you or someone you know could use a hot meal, we’d love to serve you.

We’ve got a BIG week ahead!

Countryside Express is headed back to Spruce Pine this week! We’ll be at Pine Valley Motel Monday and Wednesday.

And starting Monday at Countryside, we’re bringing something back - the Bigfoot Sandwich! 👣

Then on Saturday, Countryside Express will be back home in Marion for the Bigfoot Festival!

Wanda has been part of the Countryside team since 2011. She started out carrying food, and after just a few shifts, found her place as a waitress - where so many of our customers have come to know and love her.

Over the years, Wanda has become a familiar face to so many. Her sweet nature and the way she treats people have made her loved by customers and coworkers alike.
