This special song was created after Sissy's daughter, Crystal, reached out to me to write a tribute, knowing I had previously written songs for other family members they have lost. Sissy sadly lost her brave battle with cancer this past July, and this song is dedicated to her memory as a comforting reminder for anyone walking through grief that our loved ones are safely resting in the palm of God's hands.

​This track was born out of love, memory, and a word that will forever belong to her. "Darlin'" was Alma Lee's favorite expression—her signature word of endearment, and a little piece of the warmth she gave to everyone around her. Because of that, every single time the song "Hello Darlin'" plays, it immediately reminds me of her. That constant, beautiful connection is what inspired this tribute. It’s my way of saying "hello" back to my darlin', and keeping her spirit alive through music.

Hey guys! I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who is still reaching out in concern & their undying love for the Dew Drop! Words cannot express how empty my heart & soul feel. I deeply miss my Dew Drop family & you are constantly in my prayers! I truly believe that God closes doors only to open new ones. This change has affected me physically, emotionally, financially, but most important of all, SPIRITUALLY! I know that God does not make mistakes & walks through all our trials & hardships. I pray every day that He continues to reassure every heart that we will return back together & share many more captured moments! So for those of you who know me best, my songwriting is my refuge, my therapy & my constant reassurance from God. He awakes me early a.m. hours with words of prayer, hope, sustainment & encouragement! When we were suddenly shut down because of septic tank & grease trap issues, God asked that I share the song of gratitude & resilience, "Jesus Came To Town".
