A LITTLE CURIOSITY CAN LEAD TO A NEW FAVORITE! 😋

Today we introduced our Mustangs to something new at lunch—Sierra Honey Plums!

At first, we heard lots of questions… “What is it?” “What does it taste like?” “Is it sweet?”

But with a little encouragement, so many of our Mustangs decided to JUST TRY IT! And guess what? They LOVED them! 🙌

We LOVE seeing our students explore new fruits and discover foods they enjoy. Trying different fruits and vegetables is a fun way to add variety and important nutrients to their meals. 🌱🍎

This sweet Mustang was especially excited to give them a try—and that smile says it all! 😍

LUNCHROOM PARTICIPATION IS ON FIRE! 🍽🔥

Today’s lunch was a BIG hit! Our students enjoyed French Bread Pizza or Cheese Pizza, Golden Corn, Garden Salad, Fruit, and Milk — and WOW, are we loving the numbers we’re seeing in the lunchroom!

🐎 512 Mustangs came through the lunch line today!
📚 632 students enrolled

🔥 That’s 81% participation! ✨

Now THAT is something to celebrate! 🎉🙌

Some of our Mustangs have gotten so used to me commenting on their trays and taking pictures that now they’ll ask, “Are you taking a picture of mine?”

YES! 😂 And I’m happy to!

Because we LOVE seeing students make choices they feel good about — and even better when they’re actually excited to eat the food! 🙌

It makes us so happy to see our students choosing a variety of foods and adding fruits and veggies to their meals. Those little choices can make a BIG difference in keeping our Mustangs fueled, focused, and ready to learn! 🐴📚
