🚨 CORCORAN RESIDENTS — PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO READ THIS AND CONSIDER SHARING 🚨
The City of Corcoran recently approved a plan that could authorize up to $40 MILLION in general obligation bonds to help fund a new civic campus, including a new City Hall and public safety facility.
A reverse referendum petition is now being circulated to give Corcoran voters the opportunity to vote on whether this debt should move forward.
This isn’t about telling anyone how they should vote. It’s about making sure Corcoran residents get a voice on a $40 million decision that could affect our community and property taxes for years to come.
If you are a Corcoran resident and want voters to have a say, please consider signing the petition.
Honestly, it’s sad that we even have to ask for the opportunity to vote on a decision of this size. This is our community, our tax dollars, and our future. We should have a voice in how those dollars are spent.
Please share this post with your Corcoran friends, neighbors, and family so everyone has an opportunity to learn about it.
$40 million is a significant commitment for our community. Let’s make sure the residents have a voice. 🏡
Below is a copy of the petition.
Feel free to print this off, sign it and drop it off at Mama Gs or you can email Justine at [email protected] and I will coordinate pick up and get it to where it needs to go.
