On this day in 1939 the world was blessed with the one and only...Walter “Wally” Mazur! When Walter was alive he loved giving our guests a little Lagniappe(something extra special or an unexpected gift), so tonight all of our guests who are 21 or older and purchase an entree will receive a complimentary glass of Champagne. Walter loved French wines, so a little bubbly seams appropriate to toast Walter in heaven on his 87th Birthday! May the beautiful strings of pearls in our glasses here reach your glass in heaven for the toast tonight! We know there is a huge Cajun feast happening in heaven today or a huge “rock the dock” party and he is celebrating with our dear friend Bev Weber who also shared her birthday with Walter! Miss them both dearly, yet so truly blessed to have had them both in our lives! If only we could FaceTime Heaven, sending all our love, hugs and kisses!

Be sure to head over to the Village Market Brat Booth in downtown Manitowish Waters today, Friday, July 3rd! Ron & Brenda will be selling brats and hot dogs. This is a fundraiser for the ACS Relay for Life - Blue Bayou Team. There is NOT a relay in Minocqua this year, but this is a cause near and dear to our hearts at the Blue Bayou!

Thank you to everyone who made the start of our 46th Year such a great success! We enjoyed seeing so many longtime friends and guests over our opening weekend, as well as welcoming some new guests. We look forward to seeing you all again soon! We will be closed Wednesday, May 27th and Thursday, May 28th. We will reopen on Friday, May 29th, bar opens at 4:30pm and dining starts at 5pm by reservation only. For the month of June we will be closed on Sunday’s and Thursday’s.

Like many, we are looking for people to join our team. We are a family owned, operated and well established business. Do you enjoy making guests happy? Can you work well with others, be a team player?
Try your hand in the restaurant business and learn from the best. No experience necessary, we are willing to train. Full-time and Part-time positions available. Retired & need a few days out of the house?
