Soul Food Renaissance is a Fast Casual Dining Restaurant serving delicious Southern Style Soul Food, we are located in the City of Long Beach California. We are a family-owned restaurant with a family-friendly vibe between both staff and customers. We have a loyal customer base as well as a growing list of new customers. We pride ourselves in serving delicious food and a warm friendly environment for our customers.
We are looking to hire a hard-working Custodian to keep our restaurant functionally and aesthetically intact. The Custodian will ensure the inside and outside of the restaurant is tidy, clean and well-maintained. The Custodian will sweep, mop and vacuum floors, and dust surfaces. You will clean equipment, walls, ceilings, fans, windows and other surfaces both inside and outside the restaurant.
To ensure success you need to prioritize tasks and take pride in your work. Top candidates will be energetic, upstanding and dexterous.
Custodian Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors.
- Waxing furniture and cleaning fixtures.
-Disposing of trash and emptying trash receptacles.
- Performing minor repairs and painting surfaces as needed
- Maintaining cleaning equipment.
- Maintaining inventory of cleaning agents and equipment.
- Ensuring equipment and lights are switched off, and premises are locked after hours.
-Collaborating with contract cleaning and other services when necessary.
Custodian Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or suitable equivalent.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Proficient knowledge of cleaning equipment and agents.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Proficient with handling basic maintenance repairs.
- Physically agile and dexterous.
- Available to work after hours.
- Resilient to cleaning agents and chemicals.
- Outstanding organizational skills.
You must provide at least two (2) references who can verify your experience.
