Livermore, you did more than show up. You held us. ❤️‍🩹
And “thank you” will never feel like enough.

On Tuesday, you surrounded our family with a love we will carry for the rest of our lives. Through every hug, every tear, every story, every smile, and every glass raised in Alexis’s honor, you reminded us just how deeply he was loved—and how fiercely this community continues to love us through our loss.

350+ of you gave us a place to grieve without having to be strong. To laugh without having to explain. To speak his name, share his stories, and feel him close.

For one beautiful, heartbreaking evening, Alexis wasn’t just someone we were missing. He was the reason we were all together.

To everyone who came, everyone who helped make his Celebration of Life possible, and everyone who continues to reach for our family with kindness: we felt your love. We needed it more than we could ever express. And we will never forget it.

We have loved being part of this community for so many years. On Tuesday, you reminded us that we are not simply part of a community. We are part of a family—one that shows up not only when life is beautiful, but when it hurts beyond words.

We will never stop wishing Alexis could have been there with us. But in your stories, your laughter, and the love that surrounded us, there were moments when it felt like he was. In our hearts, we know he would have loved that night.

Thank you for honoring him. Thank you for remembering him. Thank you for reminding us that we do not have to carry this grief alone.

We will carry him forward. And we will carry the love you gave us with him. Forever.

Made from 100% Aligoté, this rare white is Burgundy's only Premier Cru made entirely from this grape-with most of its vines planted in 1911. More than a century of history, rooted in one extraordinary vineyard.

There are some people whose absence changes the shape of your whole world.

Alexis was that person for us.

He was laughter, love, family, memories, and a presence that can never be replaced. We miss his smile. We miss his voice. We miss the moments we thought we would have more time to share.

On October 6th, we will gather not only because we lost him, but because we were blessed to have loved him.

We will tell the stories. We will laugh through tears. We will hold one another a little tighter. And we will celebrate the beautiful life Alexis gave us — a life that continues in every memory, every story, and every person who carries him in their heart.

Somewhere between the heartbreak and the gratitude, we are learning that love does not end when someone leaves us. It simply finds a different way to stay.

Alexis, you are loved beyond words, missed beyond measure, and carried with us every single day.

Until we meet again. 🤍
