Last Day at the Shawnee Farmers Market!

Tomorrow starting at 8am we will be wrapping up the summer at the Shawnee Farmers Market. We do not have any other pop ups scheduled in September so don’t miss out!

Mother’s Day Pop up Saturday May 9th 11am-2pm.

We will have the High Tea Boxes ready for pick up on Saturday, May 9th from 11am -2pm in the Jack Henry Parking Lot.

Each box serves 1 person and includes:

- Sweet Scone
- Johnsonshire clotted cream
- Jam
- Cheese and Chive Scone
- Cucumber Sandwiches with our famous Schmear
- Cocktail Croissant - Spinach, Feta and Roasted Red Pepper
- French macaron
- Victoria Sponge cake
- Raspberry Thumbprint Shortbread cookies
- Millionaire’s Shortbread
- Earl grey or english breakfast tea
- ** and a SURPRISE TREAT**

It’s really important not to have batter left over. Not just because it’s wasteful but because you get up to no good.

After scooping a mountain of oatmeal cream pies I saved the left over cookie dough. I was thinking about how oatmeal raisin cookies are so divisive, but they are one of my favorites! Just about everyone loves oatmeal chocolate chip though- right? So how would you feel about oatmeal with chocolate covered raisins?

I think they turned out delicious. I would suggest the dark chocolate covered raisins next time. I’m just not that into milk chocolate in my cookies.

They turned out crispy on the edges, chewy chocolate in the middle and the raisins are almost fudgy in texture. This one’s a keeper!
