Smoke Me Tender BBQ

10/02/2026

The American Royal World Series of Barbecue recognizes Smoke Me Tender BBQ as an official Legacy Team, marking 20 years of competition.

Thank you to our family and friends for supporting us and making it possible for us to attend. We’ve enjoyed every year!

The American Royal has always been significant to us at Smoke Me Tender BBQ. While we have earned many ribbons over the years, our proudest moment came in 2015 when we took first place in the sausage competition.

Hoping to add this year.

American Royal Team Party Announcement

The American Royal is just two weeks away, and we’re getting closer to one of the biggest weekends of the year for Smoke Me Tender BBQ!

With construction continuing at the new campus and space being limited, we’ve made the difficult decision that we will not be having our Friday Night Team Party this year.

This decision wasn’t made lightly. Our Friday night gathering has always been about more than just food and a party — it’s about bringing our Smoke Me Tender family and friends together, celebrating, and saying thank you.

‼️ The American Royal World Series of Barbecue will look a little different this year.

As we welcome the World Series of Barbecue to our new American Royal campus in Kansas City, KS the 2026 event will be focused on creating a great experience for competing teams and people attending as a guest of a team or corporate host.

This year due to space limitations as we continue ongoing construction at the new campus, there will be no main stage or public entertainment available outside of those parties hosted by event participants. If you are a guest of a team or party that already has a space reserved for the 2026 competition, we can’t wait for you to be a part of this year’s event.

We appreciate your understanding as we make this exciting transition to our new home. We look forward to welcoming the entire Kansas City community to the American Royal campus and sharing the World Series of Barbecue with the public again in the future! 🥩
