Ibis Bakery Fresh baked, organic, artisan breads and pastries. The ibis is a communal bird that loves to socialize and eat daily meals together.

To us, that ritual is what bread was meant for. We are a passionate group of bakers and food lovers in Kansas City who are excited about discovering flavor and texture combinations while respecting the natural beauty of simple ingredients. Our artisan bakery carefully crafts au levain-style loaves from a natural yeast, creating bread the old fashioned way - hands on, and with care.

THANK YOU!!!

We were voted for best bread in The Pitch’s Best of KC ’26 for the third year in a row! We are incredibly proud of all the hard work, dedication, and teamwork that our bakers continue to show year after year. It’s more than just early mornings and sourdough. It’s the craft and community that surrounds the idea of what we are trying to do. It’s for the people that show up every week for their bread, preorder before a big holiday, or just come pick up a loaf or two on the way to dinner. You are the reason we are able to be doing what we love.
So for everyone that voted for us, thank you. You all play a massive part in helping us reach as many people as possible with our bread. We are so honored to get the opportunity to provide our neighbors and beyond with something so special.
