🐔🍞 A Chapter Is Coming to an End

After much thought, I’ve decided to bring the regular monthly baking days at The Cacklin’ Hen’s Den to an end.

I have truly loved baking for this community. What started simply grew into something so special, and I’ve loved seeing familiar faces, meeting new neighbors, and knowing that something made in my kitchen was being enjoyed around your tables.

I will definitely miss our Porch Pickup days and the rhythm of baking for you each month. 🤎

But this isn’t necessarily goodbye! Every now and then you may see me pop up and say, “Hey, anyone want sourdough this month? Let’s do it!” 😂 When I have the time and feel like firing up the ovens, I may open up a limited preorder.

For now, though, the monthly schedule is coming to an end, and I just want to say thank you to every person who ordered, came back again and again, told a friend, encouraged me, and supported this little home bakery.

Good bread. Good people. And some really good memories. 🤎🐔🍞
I am going to do one last First Saturday of the month bake. Preorder before Tuesday to pick up at the dirt lot by my house. You can preorder here. Love you and again thank you for supporting small business.

Just as the front of Porch Pickup is under construction, so is our system. 🤔
This will be an adjustment and pray all goes smoothly.

🐓✨ THE CACKLIN’ HEN’S DEN ANNOUNCEMENT ✨🐓

We have a couple of important changes to share!

🗓 Our September sale will be held on the SECOND Saturday—September 12.
🛒 Preorders will open Tuesday, September 8.

Due to county licensing requirements, we will no longer be able to offer porch pickup—but don’t worry, the sourdough isn’t going anywhere! 💛

🚗We will have a designated pick up location

🐓 After September, here’s how it will work:

🗓 We sell on the FIRST SATURDAY of every month
🛒 Preorders open the Tuesday before the sale
⏳ Ordering is available for a limited time that week only

So, if you’re craving fresh sourdough or one of our jumbo muffins, be ready to place your order when preordering opens!

It’s the first Saturday of the month, so fresh sourdough will be out on the porch, July 4th at 8:00 AM until it’s gone.
