As our one-year anniversary inches closer on October 6, I want to honor the reason why we started Nevada Brew Works in the first place: to give our daughter, Ariana Rye, a better life. 🤍
Ariana was born a micro-preemie and spent 117 days in the NICU. She fought incredibly hard during that hospital stay & every single day that followed. Her extreme prematurity left her with spastic quadriplegic cerebral palsy, and throughout her life, we learned firsthand just how difficult & expensive it was to get the medical equipment a disabled child needs to improve their quality of life.
We unexpectedly lost Ari at just 7 years old while on a family vacation.
After losing her, our reason for giving back became even greater. We continue honoring Ari through the Ariana Rye Foundation by helping other children like her receive medical equipment that can give them more comfort, independence & opportunities to experience the world.
Today, Ariana is still a part of Nevada Brew Works. A portion of every Ariana Rye IPA sold is donated to the Ariana Rye Foundation to help purchase medical equipment for children with disabilities.
Even though Ari is no longer here with us, we get to continue honoring her legacy through our brewery, through her beer and, most importantly, through every child her foundation is able to help.
To everyone who has supported Nevada Brew Works, thank you. When you support our brewery, you are also helping us support Ariana’s foundation and continue the work we started because of her. We appreciate every single one of you, and so do the children and families we are able to help because of your support. 🤍
