Today, July 23rd, I had the privilege of donating $1,000, along with school backpacks and school supplies, to the Salvation Army's Back-to-School Drive at Subaru of Las Vegas.

If you have the opportunity today, I encourage you to stop by before 5:00 p.m. You can donate backpacks, school supplies, or make a cash or check donation. Every contribution helps local Las Vegas families and children get ready for the new school year.

I'm so grateful that Via Brasil Steakhouse and Loaded Empanadas could be part of this wonderful event. It fills my heart to know we can give back to our community. A huge thank you to the Salvation Army for the incredible work they do and for the time and dedication they invest in helping families throughout Las Vegas.

We just wrapped up a wonderful Tea Party Brunch, and it was truly a special event. We had the honor of hosting the wives and families of our local fire department, and we are so grateful you chose to celebrate with us.

What you eat every single day shapes your health, your energy, and your future.

My recommendation is simple: eat real food. Choose quality meats, fresh fish, vegetables, fruits, and drink plenty of water. Reduce processed foods, avoid alcohol when you can, and be mindful of refined carbohydrates.

If you enjoy bread or pasta, try making them at home whenever possible. That way you know exactly what's in them—simple ingredients, without unnecessary preservatives.

Small choices, made consistently, can completely change how you feel, how you look, and how you live.

This is my personal recommendation.

Hi everyone! This is Anna Gomes.

Today is July 17th, and I started my day early with a two-hour workout at the gym. After that, I went shopping at Albertsons to pick up fresh ingredients so I could make a healthy dinner for my husband—fresh tilapia, homemade mashed potatoes, and tomatoes.

One thing that's very important to me is knowing exactly what I'm eating. Whenever possible, I make everything from scratch instead of buying ready-made meals because you never really know what's inside them.

I also prefer buying whole cuts of meat instead of ground beef. I like to grind my own beef at home so I know exactly what goes into it. For chicken, I usually choose chicken breast because it's leaner than thighs and drumsticks.

This is pretty much my routine every day: I go to the gym, cook for my husband, go to work, come home, cook for my dogs, make dinner, and then it's time to get some sleep. It's a simple life, but I truly love it.

🐟✨ This is how we make our delicious Passion Fruit Salmon at Loaded Empanadas in Boca Park

We keep it fresh, simple, and full of flavor. Our salmon is seared in a hot pan with fresh olive oil for just a few seconds on each side to create a beautiful outside, and then it goes into the oven for approximately 10 minutes until it is perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and delicious.

Then we finish it with our flavorful passion fruit sauce, giving the salmon the perfect balance of sweet, fresh, and tropical flavors. 🥭✨
