A long, long time agoβ¦on an island far away, there was an ancient village that gave birth to the Udon noodle in Sanuki, Japan. A light fluffy noodle based on simple ingredients, Udon noodles is a dish that comes with a very specific set of rules focused on how to carefully prepare this low-cost, high-value food that is widely popular both in Japan and the world over. For the longest time, the time-honored steps to prepare Udon existed as a well-preserved and protected practice that was exclusive to the Sanuki region of Japan. That is, until one day an incredibly young, curious, and very handsome Nevada-based businessman (letβs call him Henry, because thatβs his name π) came to that region with just one goal in mind; to introduce authentic Udon noodles to America and bring a taste of Japan to Las Vegas (or Chicago, New York, etc.). After receiving exclusive permission from the Udon Master chefs to bring their extremely precise cooking steps from Sanuki, Japan to Las Vegas, CafΓ© Sanuki was finally βMaster Approvedβ and officially opened in Summer 2017.
