Chile en Nogada has long been tied to Mexico’s Independence celebrations, with its green poblano, white walnut nogada and red pomegranate reflecting the colors of the Mexican flag. 🇲🇽

Our version starts with a roasted poblano filled with pork picadillo, dried fruits and nuts, then gets topped with walnut-sherry sauce and pomegranate seeds. It’s rich, festive, a little sweet, and a little savory.
