🚨🚨🚨🚨 WE NEED YOUR FEEDBACK🚨🚨🚨🚨

Good evening Abruzzi Family!

For the past year we’ve been open, we’ve stayed away from the third party apps, (GrubHub,DoorDash,slice,uber eats)

Since that time we’ve had people consistently ask when and if we are going to join them.

At Abruzzi, our first and primary goal is great food and
Great service. If you’ve dined with us, you know We don’t cut corners on food quality and we don’t skimp on portions. We’ve made our stake and our name on these two factors.

My concern with these apps is the lack of control
We have with them. The orders come from the outside
Companies and they are delivered by their contractors. I’m scared that once we give
That food away, we don’t have any input on how it arrives, what time it arrives or the care taken delivering it. That scares me because it will ultimately reflect on us. I know we are limiting who is trying our meals because of this and I understand it’s a giant convenience factor for customers today, to use and go through these apps.

We are heavily considering giving it a go, but we
Want to hear the feedback from you guys. Obviously there is an increased cost using these apps but it seems that people don’t mind due to the busy lifestyles and convenience factor of having the food delivered.

For the people that do use these apps often, when issues arrive are you satisfied with the outcomes
Of these issues with these companies?

My fear is this…

I don’t want abruzzi to absorb negative reviews
For things out of our control because of someone having an issue or bad experience with the third party delivery and apps.

Edit: I knew I should have mentioned this but felt the post was too long as is.
We have takeout currently and would still have takeout in house. We have also tried to
Find drivers to Offer In house delivery. But it’s challenging finding enough drivers to Fill seven days a week and 73 Hours of operation. We Also don’t have enough calls for delivery, and drivers would not want to be committed to a place with no consistent deliveries. With the apps, it’s a pay by order system. So the driver shows up when there’s demand.

Our JuJu pizza is also known elsewhere as a Pizzaz pie, if you’re from south Philly like she is, than you know exactly what this pies all about 🤩

A Pizzaz pie is a white pizza with slices of fresh tomatoes , banana peppers and COOPER Sharp cheese!

You won’t see this pie around Bucks county that often,
But it’s a Philly staple!

In the spirit of improving and making it bigger and better to fit the Abruzzi style, we tried it with one of our homemade pieces of garlic bread instead of the crostinis!

Let’s hear your thoughts 🤩

Visually I think it looks awesome and really catches your attention.

Taste wise it was delicious !

If we do offer it , there would be more cheese melted to the brim like our current offering. This sample here I had To transfer to another bowl for pictures so I lost some of the cheesey goodness😑
