We’ve committed to the chalkboard. The menu is a bigger conversation. 👀

Gluten free manicotti at Giuseppe’s. A special for the week? Maybe. Joining the menu full time? Maybe.

Have we made a decision? Absolutely. Maybe.

Come try it and tell us if it deserves a permanent spot. Apparently, we need supervision. 🍽️

This post is supposed to be about our 12” personal pizza, made exactly how you want it and served piping hot straight out of the oven.

But that’s boring.

So instead, let’s talk about the part where Joanne conveniently forgot to tell our famous photographer just how spicy his pizza was. 🌶️🔥

For context, he does NOT do spicy.

He does, however, have a ridiculous inability to back down from a challenge.

So there he sat. Sweating. Struggling. Questioning every decision that brought him to this moment. Yet bite after bite, he refused to surrender.

And Joanne? She laughed for nearly an hour. Not a little chuckle. A full blown, nonstop laugh fest while this poor man fought for his life against a 12” pizza. 😂

He finished it. Because apparently pride is stronger than hot peppers.

Anyway…

12” personal pizzas. Made exactly how you like them. Piping hot out of the oven.

Southern Italian roots. Italian American creation. Northeastern street festival legend. 🇮🇹

No one person can claim sausage, peppers and onions. The combination grew from the kitchens of Southern Italy, where pork sausage was cooked with seasonal peppers and onions. Italian immigrants then brought those traditions to America and created the version we know today, piled high inside a crusty Italian roll.

By the early 20th century, it had become a fixture at street fairs, church festivals and Italian feasts throughout the Northeast. New York City’s Feast of San Gennaro helped transform it into an Italian American street food icon.

From Southern Italy to the streets of New York City to your table right here in Lambertville, some traditions only get better with every stop.

A few nights ago, Chef Mark was dreaming about secret recipes he had tucked away somewhere inside that creative chef imagination of his.

Apparently, he decided to make those dreams come true. 🤣

This week’s specials:

🔥 Horseradish Cream Cheese Steak
🔥 Smoked Salmon Fettuccine in a Garlic & Green Onion Cream

Keep dreaming, Chef. We’re hungry.

Serving our Lambertville neighbors since 1978. ❤️

Nearly 50 years of good food, familiar faces, family traditions and being part of the community we’re proud to call home.

A lot has changed since 1978.

Our love for Lambertville hasn’t.

Did you notice we made a few changes to the outside of the building? 👀

While Mark was busy in the kitchen developing new recipes for our cheesesteak and hamburger, Joanne was busy giving the outside a little refresh.

Because apparently, we don’t know how to leave anything alone. 😂

New recipes inside. A fresh look outside. Same place you love, with a few new reasons to stop by.

Take a look next time you’re in the neighborhood and tell us what you think! 👇

Looking for a salad that is anything but boring?

Meet the Giovanna Salad. Mixed greens piled high with tomato, red onion, Kalamata olives, artichoke hearts, cherry peppers, feta cheese, and the part that changes everything: fried calamari.

Finished with balsamic vinaigrette and extra virgin olive oil, this is not your average salad.

Perfect for lunch or dinner. 🥗🦑

That guy who tells all our secrets came in today and ordered the new burger.

But of course, he couldn’t just order the burger like everyone else. Nooooo. He needed it built differently because apparently he had a photo in mind. 📸🍔

Chef Mark looked at him and said, “If you can make the picture as good as I make the burger, I’ll do something different.”

Deal. 🤝

So Chef Mark went to work. Topped with spicy to***co onions, grilled jalapeños, and all the fixings.

He got the burger.

We got the photo.

Fair deal. 😂🍔📸

🔥 CHEF MARK ISN’T FINISHED.

Just when you thought Giuseppe’s nearly famous burger couldn’t get any better… Chef Mark went back to work.

And somehow, he did it again.

The best burger in town just got better. 🍔🔥

We’re not going to give away the secret. You’re going to have to order it, take that first bite, and experience the moment when your taste buds realize they’ve been seriously underachieving.

Your life will change forever.

Promise.

Come hungry. Leave convinced. 😎

🍔 The Nearly Famous Burger.
Now dangerously close to becoming actually famous.
