If you would have told these three kids five years ago that we’d be in the running for Best Independent Coffee Shop in the country, we would have been absolutely shocked.
So much has happened in the last five years.
We went from working behind the bar every day, sometimes serving only a handful of people, to having a constant line out the door, opening a second location, and starting to roast our own coffee.
Along the way, we’ve made A LOT of mistakes. We’ve learned a lot. We’ve figured out what we truly want this business to be, made some big management hires, worked hard to build and retain an incredible team, made more mistakes, learned more lessons… you get the gist.
It has been a wild five years, and we genuinely could not have done it without the support of Lakeville and the surrounding communities.
And somehow, here we are — currently sitting at #2 in the USA TODAY Best Independent Coffee Shop in the country voting.
We truly cannot believe it.
