What a fantastic way to celebrate the 4th of July! 🇺🇸🍌🍨

The boats are empty, and the smiles are big! Pangborn Ice Cream has officially wrapped up its First Annual 4th of July Banana Split Eating Contest.

🥇 1st Place: Isaac Morford – 77 seconds!
🥈 2nd Place: Mark Lewandowski – 1 minute, 43 seconds
🥉 3rd Place: Misha Mercius – 1 minute, 53 seconds

After a little research, we couldn’t find an officially recognized world record for eating a banana split. The fastest time we found was approximately 93 seconds.

So, until someone proves otherwise, we’re proudly declaring that Isaac Morford of Keystone Heights, Florida, is the unofficial Banana Split Eating World Record Holder with an incredible time of just 77 seconds! 🎉🏆

Congratulations to all of our contestants, and thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate Independence Day with us. And, thank you to Tresses Salon, who sponsored three contestants.

We can’t wait to see who takes on the challenge at next year’s contest!

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Here are a few photos of part of the Pangborn Ice Cream family celebrating the 250th birthday of our amazing country with some delicious ice cream. There’s no better way to celebrate than with family, friends, and a sweet treat!

It has been a cool sprint at Pangborn Ice Cream. We have had a lot of racers show up to cool down.

Here are a couple of those that share their times. Daniel (Race winner 17:50) with his family, and Choloe (2nd place woman 21:48) with her dad (Dan 21:59) and other family and friends (Isaac 22:13, Ethan 22:45, Noah 22:42).
