This Friday is a Federal Holiday- Juneteenth Freedom Day. 💛🧡❤️🖤💚

Pastor Joy told the Deeper Purpose Family Resource Center- TRC Staff that they could be off & enjoy a three day weekend, only for them to humbly decline & request to work the whole day, just so they could operate our weekly Friday Food Distribution & keep things going, where well over 100 local families are served every Friday.

When you see us going above & beyond for our staff, this is ONE of the many reasons why! Choosing to work when you could have a paid day off, just so you can serve others, truly says a lot about these two & exemplifies exactly the kind of ministry that our leadership pushes us to be. If you see them on Friday, be sure to thank them for their service. We appreciate them so much!
