Surprise! We’re (not) moving…
Instead, we’re expanding! 🛠️👷♀️ For the last year, Fable House has rented a small room nextdoor to our home base of Besso’s for storage and a workspace, in a coworking building called “The Depot”. Many businesses have called this building home over the years— you may have visited one of the many fabulous boutiques that began there, or met with one of the salon owners or nail techs who see clients there 💈💅
Now, we are so grateful that The Depot is allowing Fable House to welcome our bookstore customers inside as well, and we’re in the middle of expanding our current selection into this building, right in the front lobby area 📚
With this new space, Fable House can officially advertise 📖 OPEN HOURS 📖 where we will assist customers right at our own front counter! 💫
Now, why do I say we’re not moving? Well, The Depot is actually in the same building as Besso’s! The front room nearest the street has a connecting door which will be open during open hours, so you can shop both inside Besso’s and the Depot as one larger (and slightly oddly shaped 😂) store.

📕 Will self-checkout remain an option inside Besso’s?
Yes, we will maintain our website for self-checkout and so that non-local customers can order to ship!
📗 What will open hours be?
We will be open Tuesday-Friday 10-5 and Saturdays from 10-3. On evenings that we hold events, we’ll stay open until after the event (usually those happen on Tuesdays or Thursdays)
📘 When is the new store officially open?
Our goal is to be open with our new hours on September 1st. However, you can shop the new part of the store anytime you see the connecting door open, beginning now (we’ll likely be there during most of those intended hours even now)
