🇺🇸 WELCOME HOME! 🇺🇸

Our nephew Branden and his shipmates finally arrive back on US soil this afternoon!

After being deployed on July 4th, 2025 (America’s 249th B-day!), he and his shipmates have had quite the experience the last year and a half:

-They left San Diego in Nov of 2025 on what would become the MODERN MARITIME RECORD for most consecutive days at sea (264)!
-They spent ~7 months parked at the enemy’s front door, with a giant bullseye on their ship…
-And now they’re arriving safely back in the US; with a short leave that allows him just enough time for him to catch a flight and get to his sister’s wedding on Saturday!

A big welcome home and thank you to him and all of the servicemembers around the globe doing their jobs each and every day!

Quick PSA - Tonight is Homecoming for our hometown Heath High! We have a pack of wild 🧡 dogs 🤎 that have secured our outdoor space for their pre-dance dinner.

So when you see a a bunch of cars in the parking lot tonight with a group of well-dressed youngsters gathered around a couple of dads / amateur-hibachi-chefs 😉 on our patio, just know that we are NOT OPEN. (We hope to have an update on that front for everyone in the next week or so.)

For tonight, best wishes to all of the HS'ers celebrating a Friday night victory!
