We opened Firefly on a prayer, hopeful that people would appreciate the quality we were after, be patient with us as we found our footing, and want to return again.

We opened our doors without being remotely close to polished or ready. We shuttled pastries from a neighboring restaurant kitchen all day, everyday. I managed the store front while Ty baked everything off site. After 4 months, we closed for 2 weeks to make the place our own and build out our baking establishment in the café.

It’s been 6 months since then. Our team has grown, our menu too, and customers keep coming and returning. We are grateful to everyone who has walked through the doors or cheered us on from afar.

I took these clips on Sunday and it brings so much joy to play them back. It’s a little glimpse into what Firefly has become in its first 10 months. We still have a ways to go and more we want to add, but all in good time.

Stop in for coffee and specialty drinks, sourdough breads, fresh pastries, breakfast, and lunch! Casual faire with quality sourced ingredients - Organic and non-gmo flour, housemade coffee syrups, regionally roasted coffee, quality meats, no weird ingredients that you can’t pronounce.
