JMP Services began as a pilot car company in 2016 in Hallettsville, Texas. Founded by James, the company grew from a lifelong passion for the trucking and oversize load industry. After watching heavy haul operations throughout his childhood, James entered the industry at just 17 years old, es**rting concrete beam shipments from Victoria, Texas, to major infrastructure projects across the state, including SH 99 (Grand Parkway) in Houston and the George Bush Turnpike in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.
As his experience grew, James expanded into the wind energy industry, steering oversized trailers transporting wind tower components and other specialized loads. His dedication to safety, professionalism, and precision helped establish JMP Services as a trusted partner in the heavy haul industry.
In 2025, Lewis joined the company after spending years as a dry van semi-truck driver. He immediately entered the wind division, steering wind tower sections before transitioning to transporting wind turbine blades. Lewis thrives on the challenges of the oversized load industry and enjoys traveling across the country while helping move some of the largest freight on America's highways.
Together, James and Lewis have built JMP Services into a full-service oversize transportation support company. Today, they provide pilot car and es**rt services, site and route surveys, oversize load permitting, police es**rt coordination, and bucket truck services for raising traffic signals, utility lines, and other overhead obstructions. Their team supports the safe and efficient movement of some of the largest and most complex loads transported throughout the United States.
