Sunday in the test kitchen!

Today we tested a few dough recipes and mom got to show her grandkids the art of dough rolling, pizza prep & landing! This was such a full circle moment for me y'all! I remember my mom & dad teaching me how to do all of this when I was their age (maybe younger) in their pizza restaurants! I definitely felt my dad's spirit in that kitchen with us today, while the 3rd generation learned the ropes!

We have a lot of small things (and some big things!) that we're still getting in place & putting our final touches on before we can open our doors to y'all - but we're getting so close!

We're super happy you're following along with us, sending us your prayers & for all the positive words of encouragement and excitement you all have for this!

Happy first week of school, Peaster! What a great week to the start of an awesome school year!

Sharing some behind the scenes of the reno! Lots of big (and little) things happening lately!

Kitchen is *almost* done being set up and we're so close to being ready to start full throttle testing our recipes!

HVAC is in - so we'll have a nice & cool place for you to beat the heat while you enjoy your pie!

Front & side doors are in and we have a beautiful awning going up for al fresco dining if thats more your style!

We still have quite a bit to do, and we're hoping for a late September opening date, so stay tuned and follow along! We'll announce opening dates, hiring needs and we'll share some of our test kitchen pizzas, salads & sandwiches that we'll be whipping up!

Happy Sunday, folks!

Super excited to share the progress we've been making at the restaurant and thought it would be a good time to introduce our family!

We are the Luedtke's. Our kids, Hawken and Violet, are both Greyhounds! Peaster is such a special place and we want to give back to our community. We are incredibly proud to raise our family right here alongside yours.

For 30 years, pizza has been our family’s way of bringing people together. Everything we make is prepared from scratch. We put love into every slice because we are cooking for our neighbors, our friends, and our community.

We're building Hound Town Pizza to be a community hub. A welcoming place where kids can swing by for a slice after school. A spot where families can gather before the game and crowd around the table to celebrate a victory afterward!

For us, this isn't just a business. It is our way of giving back to the community that gives so much to all of us. We can’t wait to feed our Peaster family! 💙🩶
