THANK YOU, GRAPEVINE! Our August Fill A Bucket, Feed a Family was a huge success- and all because of YOU!
We dropped off the second load today at GRACE Grapevine Food Pantry. If you're still looking to give, we spoke to one of the volunteers today, and they have a current need for personal hygiene items. (soaps, shampoos, etc)
Grace is a wonderful organization and helps so many-- THIS is what small business is all about!🙏

WE PROMISE FUZZY’S IS OPEN, Y’ALL! 🚨🌮 If you’ve driven past Fuzzy’s near Grapevine Mills lately and thought, “Wait, did Fuzzy’s close?” — nope!

The sign fell off the front of the restaurant recently, and without it, plenty of people have apparently assumed they’re no longer open. Managers told us that’s absolutely NOT the case, but they’ve definitely noticed the drop in business.

And that’s where we come in, Grapevine! ❤️

Fuzzy’s is OPEN and serving up tacos, burritos, chips, queso and all the good stuff…they just happen to be temporarily sign-less. 😅

We’re told it could be a few weeks before the sign is repaired, so until then, consider this your reminder to swing by and show them a little local love.

Fuzzy’s is open. The sign is not. 😂

Some teachers teach you math. Others teach you a little bit about life. ❤️

When Colleyville Heritage High School opened its doors in 1996, Gina Burnett was there.

Thirty years later, she’s still there. She’s still teaching math. She’s still loving her students. She’s still making an impact.

But there’s another pretty special part of Gina’s story. Her daughter, Olivia, is now teaching math in the same department. 🥹

Gina says she never imagined she’d get the chance to work alongside her daughter.

“It’s so fun. We support each other. She’s so helpful to me…she helps me with all my technology,” Gina told us through laughter.

And these days, Gina is teaching the children of some of her former students. Talk about coming full circle.

Olivia says her mom has been an incredible mentor, helping her build confidence as a teacher. She says she absolutely loves teaching with her mom and that Gina’s passion for teaching, and genuine care for her students, is something she sees every day.

But perhaps the most powerful part of Gina’s 30-year story came from talking to some of the students she taught years ago.

We reached out to a couple formers students to find out what sort of teacher she was and their responses literally made our eyes well up.

One former student told us Gina wasn’t just an amazing teacher, she was “the adult all kids need outside of the home.” She remembered how Gina took the time to know her students, understand their strengths and struggles, and give them the confidence to believe they could succeed.

And another former student told us that, to this day, she considers Mrs. Burnett the greatest educator she ever had.

That’s the kind of legacy you can’t measure with a grade or a test score.

Thirty years. Thousands of students. And now, a daughter following in her footsteps.

What a beautiful legacy, Mrs. Burnett. ❤️

🇳🇵 Grapevine is showing up for Nepal. ❤️

The devastation in Nepal is hard to comprehend. Catastrophic flash floods have killed more than 1,000 people, with thousands still missing as rescue crews search through mud, rocks and debris. Communities along the Nepal-China border have been left facing unimaginable loss.

Now, one local restaurant is turning a meal into a way to help.

Karmma & Kocktails is is hosting “Dine for a Cause” this Thursday, September 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. During those four hours, 100% of food sales at the Grapevine and Dallas locations will be donated to support flood victims in Nepal. ❤️🇳🇵

📍 Karmma & Kocktails – Grapevine
120 S. Main St., Suite 50

Their Dallas location is at 3011 Golden Ln., Unit 102.

And if you want to do even more, additional donations are welcome. Money will go to the Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund, organized by the government of Nepal.

Drink sales are not included in the donation and will be charged separately.

So if you’re looking for lunch Thursday, maybe make it a meal that means a little more.

Eat. Give. Support Nepal. ❤️🇳🇵

FROM GRAPEVINE TO DANCING WITH THE STARS! 💃✨

Grapevine High School graduate Jenna Dewan is trading Hollywood for the ballroom! 🎬➡️💃

Dewan has been named one of the headliners for Season 35 of Dancing with the Stars…and honestly, this feels like a pretty perfect fit. 😉

Long before Step Up made her a household name, Jenna was already dancing professionally, performing as a backup dancer for stars including Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott and Christina Aguilera.

She went on to build an impressive acting career, appearing in American Horror Story, Supergirl, The Mindy Project and more. She also hosted World of Dance, served as a guest judge on So You Think You Can Dance and currently stars on ABC’s The Rookie.

But now she’s heading back to where it all started, the dance floor. 💃✨

We’ll definitely be cheering on one of Grapevine’s own when Jenna takes the stage on Dancing with the Stars! 🍇❤️

⚡️ We’re getting our first look at the magic coming to Grapevine! 🪄❄️

The Ga***rd Texan gave a sneak peek at some of the concept art and renderings for this year’s Harry Potter™ ICE! exhibit, and it already has us counting down to November.

From the icy Forbidden Forest to Hogwarts Castle, Quidditch and some familiar faces from the Wizarding World, these early designs give us a little glimpse of what’s in store when ICE! opens November 13.

And if the concept art looks this magical, just imagine it all carved out of ice.

The countdown to the Wizarding World in Grapevine is officially on! ⚡️

Who’s already planning a visit? 🧙‍♀️❄️

A legendary astronaut came to town today to pay her respects to an aviation ICON. 🚀 🙏🏼

A memorial service for Grapevine legend Wally Funk was held today at White’s Chapel in Southlake and one of the most powerful moments was seeing another aviation pioneer there to honor her: Astronaut Eileen Collins.

Collins made history as the first woman to pilot and command a Space Shuttle. It’s a milestone that carries even more meaning when remembering Wally’s own journey.

Wally was one of the women who completed the rigorous testing of the Mercury 13 program in the 1960s, hoping to become an astronaut at a time when women weren’t allowed into NASA’s astronaut corps.

Decades later, Wally finally made it to space herself aboard Blue Origin’s New Shepard at age 82. She died this summer.

Today, one pioneering woman came to our area to say goodbye to another…and honor the fact Wally Funk spent her life showing the sky was never the limit. ❤️🚀

It seems Colleyville’s Rio Mambo is officially closed. 🚨

If you stopped by Rio Mambo in Colleyville today, you likely noticed the doors were closed — and this time, it doesn’t appear to be temporary.

You may remember the restaurant was temporarily shut down last week over an issue involving rent payments. A notice was posted on the door at the time. Interestingly enough, a photo of that same notice, hand and all (last picture), was posted on the restaurant entrance today. 👀

Now, according to reporting from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Rio Mambo has closed its Colleyville location, along with its restaurants in Fort Worth, Burleson, and Weatherford.

The closures are part of a larger contraction by Rio Mambo’s parent company, Xperience Restaurant Group.

So, it looks like this is the end of the road for Rio Mambo in Colleyville. 🌮🍹

We went this past Sunday and enjoy some food and drinks. Did you ever eat at the Colleyville location?

09/01/2026

Tropical Storm Edouard is making its way across the Gulf and is expected to strengthen before reaching the Upper Texas and southwestern Louisiana coasts later today. Forecasters are watching the potential for heavy rain, flash flooding, storm surge and strong winds along the coast.

But what does that mean for Grapevine and the DFW area? 👀

Current forecast tracks eventually have Edouard moving northwest toward North Texas, but meteorologists don’t expect the storm to have much left by the time it gets here. 🌧️➡️☀️

There is a possibility we could see a little rain from the remnants, but right now, forecasters don’t expect anything significant. The storm will likely weaken and flutter out as it moves inland.

Some areas farther south, including Hillsboro, could potentially pick up a little more rain.

GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT! 🍹🌮
After months of delays, construction and wondering if this day would ever come, Vidorra is officially OPEN in Grapevine!

And honestly? The wait may have been worth it. 👀

We’ve been seeing nothing but excellent reviews rolling in, and after finally getting to experience it ourselves, we can confirm: Vidorra did not disappoint! 🙌

Now the big question: Who’s already been and what did you think? 👇

It looks like the sign at the Lowe’s on Grapevine Highway caught fire Monday evening. 🔥

Hurst Fire Department responded to the Lowe’s at 770 Grapevine Highway, where firefighters reported seeing fire coming from the roof of the garden area.

Brandon Smith, who was kind enough to send us this video, says the fire is now out. 🙌

Initial thoughts are that the fire may have been electrical, but the cause has not been confirmed.

Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
