🏆 2026 Woodland Bank Grand Slam is in the books! ⛳

What a great day of golf at Pokegama! Teams battled through three rounds and three formats at Pokegama & Eagle Ridge Golf Course. They played a Scramble, Better Ball and Chapman — to crown this year’s flight champions.

A big thank you to Woodland Bank for supporting this event and to everyone who came out and competed. Another Grand Slam in the books, we already can’t wait for the next one!

We're happy to report that Phase One of the bunker renovation project is complete!

Despite several significant rain events this season, the new drainage and liner system has performed exceptionally well, proving the value of these improvements.

From a financial standpoint, this year's project totaled just over $113,000 in expenses. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our members and supporters, $114,000 was contributed to the Community Fund. Of that, $56,512.82 was applied to this year's project costs, with the remaining expenses covered through the golf course operating budget. Phase One also included resizing several bunkers and removing a number of obsolete traps to improve playability and course maintenance.

Looking ahead to 2027, our goal is to resize the bunker on Hole #18 and renovate the remaining 11 bunkers. The City is positioned to reimburse approximately $40,000 toward the project, leaving an estimated funding gap of $36,000. If you haven't yet had the opportunity to contribute—or are able to make an additional gift—we would greatly appreciate your support of the Community Fund as we work to complete this important project.

Finally, we'd like to thank everyone who volunteered their time this season. We were a bit short on able-bodied volunteers this year, and every helping hand makes a difference. If you're unable to contribute financially, please consider donating a few hours next season. Your time and effort are invaluable, and together we can continue improving Pokegama Golf Course for everyone to enjoy.

⛳ Ladies Club Championship is Coming Up!

Mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 18! The 2026 Ladies Club Championship tees off beginning at 2 PM, with flights based on handicap index and payouts for both gross and net divisions.

There will be a Red Tee Flight! Entry includes green fees, prizes, and dinner following play.

One of the tournaments we look forward to every year! ⛳️🏒

A few weeks ago, we welcomed an incredible 190 golfers to the course for the annual GRAHA Fundraising Golf Tournament — all coming together to support youth hockey in our community.

There’s something pretty special about seeing this many people rally around our local kids and the programs that give them a place to play, grow and compete.

We’re proud to be the home of this tournament each year and look forward to continuing to host GRAHA for many years to come.
