In her free time she likes to draw, hang out with her plants, and spy on her backyard songbirds. 🐦🌄🎨

✨🎃😻For 16 years Michelle shared her life with a cat, Io. She was left broken hearted when she had to let her go in January this year. Her art is drawn with her in spirit.✨🎃😻

💀👹👺🤖Mental health is also something that drives a lot of my creative choices. Michelle has been struggling with anxiety and depression for a few years and her husband Chris has been her safe space in those struggles. 💀👹👺🤖

Although she grew up hiking and camping with her family in the Appalachian mountains, moving from Atlanta to Boulder in 2015 sparked her interest in landscape painting, as she began to explore the trails around her new home. ✨🌎🌈🎨Exploring the intersection of science and digital art, Rancho Milagro / Planet Earthscapes, a collaboration of Jim and Kristina Rose, create vibrant abstract landscapes using raw satellite imagery from NASA and the USGS. The appreciation of our diverse planet was shaped by a decade sailing the Caribbean and then two decades living in Coal Creek Canyon. By manipulating planetary imagery with bold color structures in Adobe Photoshop, we reveal the hidden, striking patterns of the Earth. Each piece is digitally printed and second-surface mounted onto quarter-inch beveled acrylic, creating incredible dimensional depth and a sleek, luminescent visual experience. ✨🌎🌈🎨
