La Tampiqueña is more than a meal — it’s a story on a plate. First created in 1939 in Tampico, Tamaulipas, this beloved dish was designed as a tribute to the region’s flavors and culture.
Each element is intentionally chosen: the green of the avocado 🥑 and jalapeño, the white of the cheese and onion 🧅, and the red enchilada are all representative of the Mexican flag.
