Hey, Cookie Fam. 🤍

There are a few things around our bakery that mean more than most people realize.

This bench is one of them.

It was dedicated to two people who helped shape our story—my dad, who we lost last September and who was one of our biggest supporters, and Q's grandmother, whose love for oatmeal cookies lives on in everything we do.

We wanted a place where they could still be with us in spirit... welcoming people, sharing in conversations, laughter, and sweet moments.

So every time we see a family sitting here, friends catching up, or a parent and child sharing a cookie together, it fills our hearts a little more.

Thank you for helping keep their memory alive, one seat, one smile, and one cookie at a time. 🤍🍪

Our July Flavor of the Month is here, and we think you're going to LOVE this one...

🥧 Cherry Pie!

We started with a soft cherry cookie base, filled it with (not-too-sweet) cherry pie filling, and finished it with a buttery shortbread crumb topping. It's everything you love about a slice of homemade cherry pie, baked into one Texas-sized cookie.

It's nostalgic, it's summery, and it just feels like July.

Wow. What a weekend. First and foremost, THANK YOU.

The outpouring of support for Crisp & Chew during our Grand Opening has been overwhelming in the best possible way. Every person who stopped by, stood in line, shared a post, brought a friend, or bought a cookie, or two, or twelve — THANK YOU!! We are incredibly grateful and honestly still trying to process how much love this community has shown us.

At the same time, we know we let some of you down.

While we were blown away by the response, we know that not everyone had the experience we hoped to provide. Some customers experienced long waits, incomplete orders, missed cookies, or service that simply wasn't up to our standards. For that, we are sincerely sorry.

As many of you know, Crisp & Chew is truly a mom-and-pop business. In fact, it's just three of us baking, packing, and serving cookies. We never imagined the response to our Grand Opening would be as incredible as it was. We are beyond grateful.

We sold out every day of Grand Opening weekend. Even after staying late into the night to prepare for Saturday and baking more cookies than we thought we'd need, we unexpectedly sold out both at the shop and at the farmers market within just a couple of hours.

While we're incredibly thankful for that support, we're also learning as we go. This is our very first venture in the food industry, and we're working hard every day to improve our systems, communication, and operations so we can better serve you.

While we're proud of what we accomplished this weekend, we know that doesn't change the frustration some of you experienced. If you left disappointed, didn't receive your cookies, received a partial order, or felt that we fell short in any way, please know that we hear you, and we are truly sorry.

More importantly, we want the opportunity to make it right.
