Heads up Wednesday night bowlers!!

🚨 TRAFFIC ALERT FOR WEDNESDAY 🚨

Because of President Trump’s visit to Gastonia on Wednesday, traffic in southeast Gastonia will be heavily impacted.

If you live, work, or travel in this area, please plan ahead. Street closures and traffic detours will be in place for security purposes beginning around 2 p.m. and could remain in effect until approximately 10 p.m.

The impacted area will generally include:

📍 East of U.S. 321
📍 South of I-85
📍 West of the South New Hope Road area

Traffic conditions and closures may change throughout the event, so the best advice is to avoid this area altogether between 2 p.m. and 10 p.m. if possible.

If you need to travel through southeast Gastonia during this time, allow extra time, expect delays, and follow posted detours and the directions of officers working traffic control.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to keep everyone safe during Wednesday’s visit.

Please plan ahead. Give yourself extra time. And when possible, take another route. 🚨Keep checking back to our social media channels as information posted here is subject change between now and Wednesday.
