WE FEST KARAOKE ROUND UP CHAMPION

After weeks of incredible performances, big notes, crowd favorites, and enough karaoke courage to power all of Becker County, we have our champion!

🎉 Congratulations to Christopher “Kritter” Engel of Frazee! 🎉

Kritter sang his way through the competition and came out on top, earning the title of WE Fest Karaoke Round Up Champion and the opportunity to move on for a chance at the WE Fest stage! 🔥

A huge thank you goes out to every contestant who stepped up to the mic, every friend and family member who came out to cheer them on, and everyone who packed the house each Sunday. The talent this year was absolutely incredible, and the competition was tough right down to the final song.

From power ballads and country classics to songs that probably sounded better after a couple of beverages, every week brought unforgettable moments and amazing entertainment.

🚨 TUESDAY SUMMER KICKOFF BULLETIN 🚨

The newsroom would like to officially confirm that the long weekend has ended and Minnesota has now entered full summer mode.

The boats are out.
The campers are unpacked.
The sunburns are already developing nicely.
And suddenly everyone “just happens” to be heading to the lake every weekend for the next three months.

We hope everyone had an amazing Memorial Weekend, and we’re especially excited to start seeing all the familiar summer faces returning again.

There’s just something about this time of year when the store starts filling back up with cabin stories, fishing reports, lake traffic complaints, and people pretending they only came in for “one quick drink.”
