A little proud moment from last night. 🫶

Last night was our monthly Cruise-In at Redwood Inn. While many of the people who come are familiar faces and weekly regulars, we also have quite a few guests who visit specifically for this event.

Last night, SEVERAL people went out of their way to tell me how amazing Redwood looks and how much they’ve noticed all the changes we’ve made — from the little details and décor out front to everything we’ve done with the patio.

One comment especially stuck with me:
“You may not hear this often enough, but all your hard work shows, and people should be telling you.” 🥹🫶

That absolutely made my night.

We have put so much time, work, love, and energy into making Redwood a place we’re proud of. In this industry, sometimes the complaints seem so much louder than the compliments, so when someone takes the time to stop and say something kind, it means more than they probably realize.

So, thank you, friends. ❤️ Thank you for noticing. Thank you for taking the time to tell me. And thank you for appreciating all the hard work we’ve poured into this place.

We’re proud of how far Redwood has come — and we’re not done yet. ❤️🍕🍻

FRIENDS 🙌 We’re still trying to take in what happened last night. ❤️

Around Eight years ago, we became the owners of Redwood Inn. We knew it would mean long hours, hard work, sacrifices, stressful days and probably a few sleepless nights… And me, occasionally crashing out 😂 But we also knew how special this little place was and how much we wanted to keep it that way.

Last night was one of those nights that makes every bit of it worth it.

Whoa, Man! came out and absolutely ROCKED Redwood Inns Patio, and you guys SHOWED UP!

And because of all of you, last night became the biggest sales night we have had as owners. 🥹❤️ and I am sure since 1962!!!!

That is something we will never forget.

But what means even more than the number is looking around and seeing our place packed with people laughing, dancing, singing, eating, drinking and just having a great time together.

We couldn't have done it without our staff. They worked incredibly hard and handled an unbelievably busy night, and we are SO proud of them. ❤️

Thank you to Whoa, Man! for an amazing night.

And most of all, thank YOU. To our regulars who have supported us year after year, the people who tell their friends about us, the ones who come for pizza and a beer, and everyone who walked through our doors last night — you made this happen.

Owning a small business isn't always easy, but having a community support you the way you support us is something we will never take for granted.

Eight years later, we're still here, still growing, and last night YOU helped us make Redwood Inn history. ❤️🍕🍻

FORT WAYNE 🙌 Tonight is what we’ve been waiting for all summer! Main St. open, not a drip of rain, no humidity 🙌 AND What a concert!!!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! We had over 470 patrons enjoying Whoa,Man tonight and we loved every minute of it! Tomorrow night is Singo- wear your best 80’s outfit and come win prizes 🙂
