We’ve seen some questions regarding Turkey Take-Out and wanted to let you know a little more about the cause.
Turkey Take-Out is an annual community food drive dedicated to helping families in need throughout Foley, Gulf Shores, and surrounding areas.
Now in its 17th year, the program brings together local churches, schools, businesses, and volunteers to provide warm Thanksgiving meals and non-perishable food items to families facing financial hardship.
Last year, Turkey Take-Out served over 365 families, with the help of more than 250 volunteers. This year, the organization hopes to feed approximately 1,500 people.
The goal is simple: Make sure local families have a Thanksgiving meal on their table and food in their pantries.
