FLORENCE, AL - This Birria Ramen from Lava Room is truly special.

From their creative twists to traditional Asian dishes like bao buns and ramen to their desserts, I've experienced no misses here at Lava Room. I feel confident when recommending this spot to anybody no matter what they get.

This is my reaction to trying their Birria Ramen for the first time, and it was amazing. This and their traditional Chashu Pork Ramen are easily some of my favorite things to eat in the Shoals.

I really appreciate what Lava Room is doing in Downtown Florence. They’re willing to experiment, but the food still feels thoughtful and well-executed.
