Exciting news! Food is Free Bay Area is moving to a NEW SITE on the Solano County Fairgrounds as of August 1, 2026.

To get to the new location, you will come in via the Sage Street Gate and turn right. Our site will be located in the main parking lot to the side of the entrance pavilion.

Thank you to our site hosts, The Solano County Fairgrounds and Event Center for hosting Food is Free for the last SIX YEARS!! We have served hundreds of thousands of families from this location and look forward to the next six years.

I will be putting a location marker on google maps to help people find the site, as well as providing some new videos on social media. Please be patient with us as we move, while also continuing to provide all of our food programs.

Kids and teens get free lunch at select Solano County libraries this summer! Join us for good food and maybe browse for a book or attend a fun event while you're here! Lunch at the Library is made possible through a collaboration with local school districts and the California State Library.

Summer's here, and free meals are too! ☀️ VUSD's Summer Sun Meals program runs through Aug. 7, and any child under 18 can eat — no cost, no sign-up, no catch. Just show up!
