☕️Well folks, that’s a wrap!☕️
After a week of cleanup and closing out our 35th season we’re still tying up a few loose ends—but our hearts (and plates) are full.
🥚On the outside:
Our deepest gratitude to the Door County Economic Development Corp. Their Facade & Property Improvement Program grant helped us give the barn some much-needed love. Our updated billboard, new trim and siding gave our barn a glow-up ✨ New look, same old charm. ✨The transformation has been incredible, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to preserve this piece of Door County charm for years to come. If you missed the makeover, scroll on down—we’ve added some before-and-after photos! It’s amazing what a little love (and a great organization) can do.
🍳 On the inside:
To our amazing staff—you’re the real MVPs. Thank you for showing up every single day with heart, humor, and hard work. You made the season run smoother than a fresh cup of coffee on a Sunday morning. You showed up, kept the coffee flowing, the pancakes flipping and the laughs rolling. We’re so grateful for all your help in making this season one for the books. You’re absolute legends—and yes, this is where we drop the mic…and maybe the spatula.
🥞On the flipside (and no, not the pancakes):
Whether you stopped in once, twice, or made us part of your weekend ritual, we can’t say thank you enough. Each laugh, story, and “good morning” meant the world. You filled this place with joy, chatter, and chaos of the best kind. To the breakfast lovers, the market browsers, and everyone who brought their smiles through our doors—you filled our tables, our market, and our hearts. So here it is—our giant, heartfelt, totally unscripted:
✨WOW. HOLY COW. OH MY GOSH. SOMEONE HOLD THE DOOR. GOODNIGHT!✨
Until our next season begins in May, know that we’ll be thinking fondly of all the faces that make this place what it is.
Here’s to the memories—and to many more to come.
