Nocturne

Nocturne Nocturne is a Modern Jazz & Supper Club where the art of music, drinking & dining collide
(966)

Nocturne celebrates Denver's rich jazz heritage through the art of hospitality, and the idea that when combined good food, music, and cocktails are greater the sum of their parts. We welcome an audience where jazz fans mingle with RiNo's local artists and Denver's movers and shakers. We encourage you to drop in for a casual bite or make reservations for the perfect date. Join us for well curated adventures in music, food, and drink nightly from 6:00pm into the late evening.

Berry Bubble No. 5 is a non-alcoholic spritz, but the care behind it is identical to every cocktail on our menu. House-made strawberry oleo. House-made sakura “wine”. Genmaicha tea steeped to perfection. An infused Italian spritz base. Each component is crafted with intention, layered for balance, and we finish it with a cucumber ribbon. The result: remarkably refreshing, deeply flavored, and never a compromise. Make a reservation and explore our Ain't Misbehavin' spirit-free menu.

For his return to Nocturne, bassist Eirik Haugbro leads a powerhouse quintet celebrating the music of Christian McBride. From the influence of pianist, Ray Brown, to the energy of fusion from James Brown, McBride's music has always bridged eras while remaining unmistakably his own.

Alongside Daryl Gott, Alec Streete, Jack Dunlevie and Bobby Wiens, Eirik brings these compositions to life with the same spontaneity that defines jazz.

Arrive and step directly into the evening.

New this weekend, Nocturne is offering valet parking on Friday and Saturday nights. A valet team member will welcome you at the curb, leaving you free to focus on what matters: the night ahead, your companions, the music. Simply add valet parking to your reservation, arrive, and we'll take care of the rest.

Pan-roasted chicken breast. Celery root purée. Wild mushroom demi. English peas and prosciutto. Each element thoughtfully prepared and carefully placed on the plate. It's the kind of dish that invites you to slow down. Linger over each bite, listen to the conversation of the notes on stage, and unwind with us.

Join us at Nocturne soon in RiNo Art District.

The conversations around the table are only part of the story.

In the latest edition of our Substack, Volume IV: Prelude, we invite you behind the scenes to explore the ideas, intentions and quiet moments of preparation that shape an evening at Nocturne. From the stage to the dining room, it's a reflection on what happens before the first note is played and the first course is served.

If you've shared an evening with us, we hope you'll enjoy this glimpse into everything that makes it possible.

This holiday weekend, Nocturne will pause service as we observe Independence Day.

This year marks 250 years of our nation and Colorado's 150th year of statehood. It's also a fitting moment to reflect on one of America's most enduring art forms. Jazz, born from resilience, expression and community, continues to inspire connection across generations, and we're honored to celebrate that legacy from our stage.

We'll look forward to welcoming you back after the holiday weekend. Until then, we wish you a safe and meaningful Fourth of July.

We're honored to once again be recognized in Wine Spectator's 2026 Restaurant Awards for our outstanding wine program. Special shout-out to Scott and Wade, who've done the very hard work of tasting their way through countless options so our list is genuinely curated for your palate. Want to know their favorite bottles? Come in and ask our team - they'll share the story behind every pour.

Every seasonal menu begins somewhere. For Chef Greg, this one began around a campfire.

The char on our seared halibut and the smokey pineapple finish that lingers on the tempura portobello are call-backs to this time in his life, all reminiscent of a classic Colorado summer.

POV: Your next date night includes front-row seats, a new seasonal menu and music from a Grammy Award-winning artist.

Join us on July 8 as we welcome back saxophonist and composer Remy Le Boeuf, fresh off his Grammy win, for an evening of original modern jazz. Joined by Dave Devine (guitar), Patrick McDevitt (bass), Jack Dunlevie (piano) and Dru Heller (drums), Le Boeuf's music blends memorable melodies, adventurous improvisation and dynamic interplay.

Summer flavors come together in our goat cheese and strawberry romesco salad. Remember ramp season in spring? We pickled those ramps to make the perfect vinaigrette to match this lovely dish of strawberry, Asian pear, roasted beets and chicory greens.
