From elementary students to high school Spanish scholars, our dining room has been filled with curiosity, creativity, and a lot of laughter lately.
This season so far, we have had the privilege of welcoming students from Chasing Dreams Learning Center - Northwest Indiana, Charter School of the Dunes, and Andrean High School Spanish Club for hands-on empanada-making experiences at Provecho.
These classes are about more than learning how to fold dough. They're an opportunity to explore culture, discover new flavors, spend time around the table, and see firsthand how food brings people together.
Watching these students proudly create their own empanadas, ask thoughtful questions, and celebrate each other's successes reminds us why we love sharing what we do.
Thank you to each school, teacher, chaperone, and student who joined us. We loved having you in our kitchen and can't wait to welcome the next class through our doors.
Food for gathering. Buen provecho.
