Meet our newest bartender! Joey has spent a lifetime in restaurants, serving everyone from John F. Kennedy Jr to Dr. Dre, collecting some incredible stories along the way.

After years in NY and LA, working at legendary restaurants, Joey eventually returned home to RI and we’re thrilled to now have him behind the bar at Basta.

He loves everything whiskey or bourbon, and favors a classic cocktail or great wine. So, if you like your bourbon neat or great bar stories, you know where to find him!
