We had such a great time celebrating with our community yesterday! Thank you to everyone who came out and showed support. We danced, laughed, cried, and served over 300 free hamburgers and 400 free hotdogs. This will be our final post for a while, please come visit us at Latonia Bodega for all of your grocery and cold cut deli needs!

MAÑANA ❤️ We say our official “Farewell” to 1131 Lee St. Join us for Music, Memories, and FREE hamburgers and hotdogs for the community. This is our way of saying THANK YOU for all of your support over these last couple of weeks, and 15 years. We are hoping the rain will hold off; but we will be here rain or shine.

This chapter has officially come to a close , we are officially closed as of today we were able to get everything out of the store so now we need to concentrate on getting the rest of the stuff out of the building. Me and Claudio would like to say thank you to everybody who has stopped by in the last couple weeks and we appreciate everything. Don’t forget to stop by on Sunday for our going away party

This is an appreciation post for our Benito. not only did he work for Gutierrez Deli for the last 15 years, but he is one of the reasons why the Deli even exists. Some people may not know that Benito is Claudio’s brother, the oldest of 7 children. he’s carried the weight of being the oldest child in many ways, one being that he has cared for Claudio and his children when they were in their hardest times of life. No matter what he had going on, he has helped us in unimaginable ways. we will always find ways to repay Benito for what he has done for this business and our family ❤️ Thank you, Benito for all of your hard work and dedication to Gutierrez Deli for the last 15 years.

We know you’ve heard the news of our family deli closing, Gutierrez Deli. Sergio started his entrepreneurial journey in this space as a young man, and learned everything he needs to know from his father. Without Gutierrez Deli, there would be no Olla. Today we are reaching out to our community in a more vulnerable setting, and asking for help. We have created a Meal Train Fund to raise money for our Father, Mother, and little sister, as they transition into this next phase of life. They will be dealing with a lot of moving and ongoing expenses, while simultaneously losing the majority of their income for an undetermined amount of time.
