We would like to thank everyone for their support of our efforts to raise funds for the Newberry Theater Preservation Foundation during April. We are still totaling what we were able to take in and will let you know once we know a total.

This month, our chosen charity is Covington Fire & Rescue Inc. Covington Fire & Rescue protects all of us in the Covington area and provides their services should we need them for a fire, auto accident, medical emergency, or countless other types of emergencies. Please join us in supporting their efforts by adding a tip to your GVC purchase during May.

Thanks to the continued giving of Glacier View Coffee customers, and your March donations, we were able to donate $800 to Covington – Newberry Historical Society through our Tips for Charity program. These funds will be used to support their many initiatives centered on preserving and communicating the history of our area. Our staff was able to present the check this week to CNHS President John Montgomery, Secretary Kay McKinney, and board members Ann Adams and Brian Kendall. Thanks to all of you for making this program possible. Don’t forget that April’s donations are going to the Newberry Theater Preservation Foundation to support their initiatives.

We would like to thank everyone for their support of our efforts to raise funds for the Covington-Newberry Historical Society during March. We are still totaling what we were able to take in and will pass it along once we know.

This month, our chosen charity is something a little closer to home for us. We have chosen the Newberry Theater Preservation Foundation, which is part of the Orestod family, like GVC, Marias, PCSS, and E&O. The intent of the NTPF is the preservation and future renovation of the Newberry Theater at 102 N Pearl in Covington. Right now the focus is on preservation. But with that we still have expenses for utilities, upkeep, and insurance. Given the costs associated with construction and many other things right now, renovation is pushed out to sometime in the future. Marias mainly supports the efforts of this non-profit, but we are choosing it as the April charity at GVC to raise funds to assist with expenses. Please join us in supporting our efforts by adding a tip to your purchase during April.

Spring is in the air at Glacier View Coffee! We’re kicking off the season with flavored lattes and spritzes.

Our spring lattes include: Honeybee (vanilla and honey); RedBerry (strawberry and honey); Cottontail Matcha (cotton candy cold foam); and Lavender Bloom (vanilla and lavender cold foam). Our spritzes are Lemonade with fruit flavored syrup and lemon-lime soda.

Stop by while supplies last. We can’t wait to see you!
