Hey everyone. I started another job through the week. Im still running my bus but it's going to be done specifically on the weekend. My brothers bus will be open in various places during the weekdays but you'll have to check with his page (pizza machine 3) to find out where he's at. The economy sucks for everyone right now and I had to figure out a way to keep the lights on. Thank you for your support and understanding.

"Why do you give your food away for free?"

My entire life walking through pizza machines doors its never been about money. Wether it was watching my 3 brothers sling pie in the kitchen, my mother serving tables or my step father making our dough, it's always been about the love we had for each other under a common roof. Doing what we loved to do in an effort to survive together in a way that made us operate like a well oiled machine. Money was always the stressor. How were we going to bring in enough business to pay the rent or keep the lights on. It caused many sleepless nights between my oldest brother and my mother but I was blessed to be ignorant until it was too late. Pizza machine was our home. I know that's crazy to say because "it was just a restaurant" but to me it was much more than that. It was the glue that held my family together. When I had the chance to try to fix what was falling apart, I built the bus. An effort to save what was important to us. It may just seem like a bus, but it's the culmination of everything I learned by spending this time with the people most important to me. I don't just "give my food away for free". This is an effort to pay forward the love the pizza machine showed us. It's not about the money, it's about the connection we all have together. It's my chance to give back what my customers gave us.

Ive had a few people ask whats the best way to do so if they are too far away to actually order from the bus but believe in what we are trying to do. After my last post got a little bit of attention I figured id explain what im trying to accomplish with my concept.

Id like to build what I call a "revolving restaurant". No, it in itself wont physically spin but the menu sure will. It "revolves" around the idea of a changing menu. Growing up my entire life in a world of several pizza machines of the past (some of my springfield and gallatin followers will remember) ive learned that the most costly aspect of setting up a restaurant is installing a kitchen.. so ive come up a plan to cut that cost completely by letting chefs bring their own, like my bus for example. Instead, all I have to do is build a dining space to provide to capable cooks with their own food trucks. Also, pizza machine has always been a place of artistic expression. Our springfield location was a metropolis of local art which gave the restaurant its iconic ever- evolving atmosphere.. so id like to bring it back. Id like to offer the interior of the space to local artists to add their own flair to the space. With both the culinary and artistic aspects combined under one roof, id like to offer this place as a stage to show the talents and skills of both categories that are sprinkled throughout our community with no place to call home. Maybe throw in some live music into the mix and I believe this place could be something quite spectacular. There are still a few details I am still working out but with all that being said, what do you think?
