Happy Friday and shout out to El Jimador for being the absolute best and sweetest group of people ever!

Yesterday they dropped by with some gift cards for me AND our crew, which was such a sweet surprise. 🥹

It’s gestures like this that remind us just how special our local restaurant community is. We’re so grateful to have such amazing people and businesses supporting one another right here in Cookeville. 🫶🏼

🇮🇹Happy Italian Heritage Month! ❤️

October is a pretty special month around here. Big Tony is Italian, we come from a BIG Italian family, and our last name is Nigro…so naturally, we ended up owning a pizzeria. 😂🍕

For us, being Italian has always meant family, food, tradition, faith, big Sunday dinners, recipes passed down, talking with our hands, and probably being just a little louder than everyone else. 😂❤️

I’m proud of the Italian roots my dad passed down to us and all the traditions that make our family what it is.

So come on by Big T’s and celebrate Italian Heritage Month the right way… with a couple of slices with a couple of loud Italians. 😂🇮🇹🍕

Little Barb from Little Barb’s Bakery is hosting a VERY SPOOKY Cake Decorating Class at Big Tony’s on Thursday, October 8th at 5:30 PM! 👻🍰

You’ll decorate your own fall/Halloween-themed cake and take it home with you! And to make it even more fun… IT’S A COSTUME PARTY! 🕷️👻

Bonjour!🍕☀️

It’s just your fav local pizza plug taking a min away from her French class to try to persuade all you lovely people to come to Big T’S for lunch.

Exactly 10 years ago today we served some of our first slices, and I honestly wish I could figure out who we sold these slices to and apologize because wtf, truly. And listen.. it may be harsh but it’s true.. I believe roasting ourselves every now and again keeps us humble ya know what I mean. 😅

BUT, since that dreadful day 10 years ago… we’ve redeemed ourselves. So, all this just to say.. come and grab some slices for lunch. Because it’s delicious and also because my dad prides himself on his cheese pizza, pretty sure he loves them more than he loves his kids. Jkjkjk… kinda.

2 slices of cheese pizza & a can drink for $6… this two slice special has gotten me through a divorce, college, and so much more…so like… pretty sure it can get you through the rest of the day. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂

Anyways, lunch between 11-3 and we are opened until 8. Just come on out OR ELSE. 👊🏼

💗 HAPPY 17TH BIRTHDAY, SOPHIA! 💗

Our lil baby Sophia turned 17 over the weekend, and we just have to take a minute to celebrate one of the sweetest girls you’ll ever meet! 💕

You may recognize her as your waitress, or maybe she’s the sweet voice who has taken your order over the phone. Either way, if you’ve met Sophia, you already know just how incredibly sweet she is. 🥰

She is smart, kind, dependable, and truly one of the hardest workers around. We are SO lucky to have her as part of our Big Tony’s family, and we appreciate her more than she probably even realizes. ❤️

We’ve watched our girl grow, and we couldn’t be more proud of her. We love and adore you SO much, Sophia! 🥹💗

Well… this one is a hard one. 🥹❤️

This weekend was Chelsea’s LAST weekend with us at Big Tony’s, and saying goodbye to our weekend manager definitely isn’t easy.

Chelsea has been with us pretty much since the beginning, and she has worn just about every hat there is to wear around here. She’s worked behind the counter, made countless pizzas, made cheesecakes, worked the oven (yes, even the oven! 😂🔥), and became such an important part of our Big Tony’s family along the way.

We are SO incredibly proud of her and excited to see what’s next. She’s moving on to bigger and better things, and while we’re selfishly going to miss having her here, we know she has so many amazing things ahead of her. ❤️

Chelsea, thank you for growing with us, for showing up, for working your butt off, and for being such a special part of Big Tony’s. You will be missed more than you know.

We love you SO much, Chels! We can’t wait to watch you do amazing things! And remember… you’re always part of the Big Tony’s family. 🥹❤️
