The brats, the b**r and the Bavarian beauties are back! It almost time for Mary Ann Brandt’s Oktoberfest! Join us for our sensational sixth year, Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 from 1-6 pm, rain or shine, under Cavan’s covered open-air patio with live music, featured cocktails, food, entertainment and, of course, bier!
Throughout both afternoons, our fruhschoppen frauleins (translation: they day drink) Mary Ann Brandt, Andrea Benahoe, Ashley O’Shea, Betty Cracker, DeMonica Hunter, Tula Tubesucker and Amanda Sue will take to the Cavan patio stage with traditional Oktoberfest favorites and German-American musical fusion that will delight your dirndl. Along with traditional Oktoberfest and gay anthems spun by DJ Mitch and emcee Jeff, we’re delighted to have back our own big and brassy oompah band - the Columbus Pride Band Brass Quintet!
Now, let’s talk bier. Fraulein Brandt’s Festbier, specially brewed by Parsons North Brewing Company may be reason enough to make the trip to Brandt’s Bayern all by itself. This beautiful amber l***r is rich and malty, inviting hints of nutmeg, pecan, a medium-low hop profile and a crisp finish that delivers an unapologetic burst of autumn in each sip.

Naturally, Mary Ann Brandt would never require you to choose between Oktoberfest merriment and Buckeye game-day viewing.

At Mary Ann Brandt’s Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3rd, the b**r will be cold, the Bavarian provisions plentiful and the Ohio State-Iowa matchup will be playing on Cavan’s several large-screen TVs at 3:30. Settle in inside at the bar or enjoy all the Oktoberfest action and the game in the open-air patio. You can watch a touchdown with one eye and a fabulous drag number with the other - cold Festbier and brats in hand!
