This one is a celebration of Joe- our Head Ice Cream Maker. For his birthday we said...make any flavor you want- and YOU are actually the recipient of the gift because this flavor is AWESOME! Sfogliatella is a shell-shaped, flaky Italian pastry from the Campania region known for its crispy, multi-layered crust and sweet ricotta-semolina filling. We turned it into ice cream!

To continue the Joe chill-abration this week his awesome band Gay Baseball dropped their new album The Gay Baseball LP - Go listen wherever you stream music!!

So back when we opened- 13 years ago (?!?!) I made this flavor for my pops because he loves pistachios and a nice little crunch. But then- Laura taught me about food costs and how real pistachios are the most expensive thing in the whole wide world and how for every scoop of Pistachio Toffee we made we would actually lose money, which is not how a business stays in business.

BUT for one week- I gotta make my Pops happy! (Sorry Laura)

This week's is a collab with THE BEST Morning Radio Hosts Justin, Scott & Spiegel of the LEGENDARY - they couldn't decide what we should put in this flavor so we put...ALL OF IT! Chocolate? Caramel? Coffee? Roasted peanuts? YUP- we got alllllll of that!

10% of the proceeds of this flavor will go to who provided year-round, sports training & competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities .
